Everything you need to know about buying, installing and using a yesiim travel eSIM, answered in plain language.
As soon as your payment is confirmed, we email your eSIM as a QR, usually within a few minutes. Scan it to install, and keep the email so you can install whenever you are ready.
The validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a mobile network at your destination, not when you buy it. You can purchase in advance and install before you travel without using any data.
Yes. A travel eSIM adds data on a separate line, so your regular SIM and phone number stay active for calls and texts. Set the yesiim eSIM as your data line and turn off roaming on your main line to avoid extra charges.
Check that the eSIM is set as your data line, that data roaming is on for that line, and that you have arrived at the destination. If it still will not connect, restart the phone or select the network manually. Our team can help on WhatsApp.
You pay once, by card, in your own currency. The price is fixed and shown before you confirm, with no roaming fees or surprise charges later. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted where available.
If an eSIM has not been installed or activated, contact us and we will help, usually with a replacement or a refund. Once a plan has been activated and data used, it generally cannot be refunded. Reach out on WhatsApp and we will sort it out.
Most phones from the last few years do, including recent iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models. Check your settings for an "Add eSIM" option and make sure the phone is carrier-unlocked. If you are unsure, ask us before buying.
It depends on the plan. Single-country plans work in one destination, while regional plans such as Europe cover many countries on one eSIM. Check the coverage list on the plan before you buy.
As a rough guide, 1 GB covers light use like maps, chat and email for a few days. If you stream video, use social media heavily or share your connection, plan for 1 to 2 GB per day. You can always buy more if you run low.
Yes. If you run low, you can buy another plan for the same destination at any time and install it the same way. Your QR emails stay valid, so it is easy to add more data.
